Our Firm

The formal legal process begins with your initial consultation and decision to retain an attorney.  Retaining an attorney requires the payment of a retainer, which is a fee required by the attorney when agreeing to represent you.  At Mickelson, Jacobs and Bozek, LLC we stress and open an honest discussion of our fee arrangement and discussion of costs.  We provide a refundable retainer fee arrangement so you are only charged for the time we commit to your case and costs we incur. Our time is converted to a dollar amount and deducted from your retainer.  If at the end of your case there is a retainer balance, that amount is refunded to you.  If, however, your retainer is exhausted prior to the completion of your case, you will be required to pay additional retainers until your case is completed.
